Learn about the Stompers

Stompin' since 2015

The Foggy Bottom Whomp-stompers formed in 2015 at a flashband event playing “music in the public domain” (ie, from before about 1925).  Since then we’ve been stomping on like the Ship of Theseus with members coming and going, but always keeping the 1920s music flowing!

Since the band’s formation we’ve played at private parties and public events throughout the District, Virginia, Maryland, and even the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  We’ve played everywhere from the Kennedy Center, Woodrow Wilson House, and Torpedo Factory Art Center to a humble street corner!

We can play in several different sized ensembles which you can learn about here!
