Foggy Bottom Whomp-Stompers Jazz Band

Public domain day 2021!

Good news! Today, Jan. 1, 2021, copyrighted works from 1925 will enter the US public domain, where they will be free for all to use and build upon! This includes literature like “The Great Gatsby,” classic films that still resonate today, like “Lovers in Quarantine” or “Safety Last,” and of course the amazing songs of ’25 including “Sweet Georgia Brown,” “Yes Sir, That’s My Baby,” and of course “Anybody Here Want To Try My Cabbage?”!
Celebrate by listening to the playlist below of ’25 songs that still sound great!
